The French manuscript is now finalised. The book will be published in several languages, beginning with French and English. For each edition, a foreword is sought from an author whose work resonates with the sageocratic approach and with the intended readership. No single foreword writer is expected to carry alone a project of this scope across all languages. International publication will take shape progressively, in step with publishing agreements and translations.
Why this book exists
A word from an author who was not meant to write it
This book should not exist. It was written by a man with no calling to write — active in building and character real estate, then a designer of digital projects, then a researcher into consciousness, and an author almost in spite of himself.
The idea was born in 2004. Not a book — a website, a platform: what would make Sageocracy possible. The will was there; the means were not. It would take twenty-two years to gather them. And when the site could finally be built, in 2025, the book imposed itself — almost in spite of its author.
What this work carries today is not one more theory. It is what resists simplification — what, after two decades of observing the world and inner exploration, asks to be named.

What the book develops
The diagnosis
Today’s political, economic and social systems produce results that successive reforms have failed to correct. This is not a question of ill will: these systems were designed for a world that no longer exists. Their very structure prevents them from meeting the real needs of human societies.
The foundations
The six principles of Sageocracy, defined with rigour and grounded in concrete situations — to show that these are not abstract ideals, but operational criteria. Syntony receives separate treatment: applied to social organisation, it reveals a demand for coherence that few governance systems have managed to articulate.
The protocol
The mechanism of the transition — not as a general aspiration, but as a sequence of verifiable steps. The role of registration, the logic of the global count, the democratic threshold, the activation of the World Map, and how the civic movement joins existing institutions.
The Reliances
The Reliances — founding principles, recognition mechanisms, implications for the economy and governance. How they give a place, within a coherent value system, to what current systems cannot recognise: care, transmission, the preservation of living systems.
The vision
The philosophical and, for those open to it, spiritual dimension of the project — without esoteric vocabulary. What it means to live Sageocracy in the world as it is today — before the transition, in a period of change, within institutions that have not yet integrated its principles.

Why this book now
The great essays of social transformation share the characteristic of having appeared at the precise moment when the society they described was already changing — when enough people had already begun to perceive what the work was about to name.
La Sageocratie is written in that spirit. The work does not seek to convince people who have perceived nothing of what it addresses. It seeks to offer a rigorous framework to those who have already sensed that the current framework is no longer sufficient — and who were looking for the precise words to name it, and a concrete mechanism through which to act accordingly.
The English translation addresses the same readership as the major essays that have shaped intellectual and political debate over the last two decades — those of David Graeber, Kate Raworth or Charles Eisenstein. Not to compare itself to them, but because the book joins the same conversation: it speaks to readers who think rigorously, read demanding works, and seek in ideas not comfort but tools.

A definitive preface
Before its submission to publishers, the work is currently being presented to a world-renowned author — whose work constitutes one of the deep references of the Sageocratic project — with a proposal that they write the preface. A contribution of this kind would represent a decisive lever for the book’s international reach.
